Start with some cranberries..this is about half of the bag of fresh cranberries.

A pound of frozen strawberries

About 1/2 cup can always add more later

Half a lemon ..juiced

I add about 1/4 cup water and place cooker on high heat and let it come to a boil. This is when i add a dash of vanilla extract

Once it comes to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer stirring ever few minutes. This will need to simmer for about 45 min

Cooking breaks down the fruit so there isnt a need to break it up with a spoon however it will start to settle on the bottom of cooker, so be sure to rembr to stir during the 45 min cook time

When you're finished, place into a glass bowl to cool. It will thicken as it cools. I love having this handy for different meals..
