Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

In a bowl, mix Tabasco, chili sauce, 1/4 packet of onion soup mix garlic and half a cup of beer.

Add hamburger. With hands, mix well.

Spray a deep baking dish. Split meat in half and form into balls. Gently press down on the top with your thumb to prevent getting a big meat ball. Baste the burgers with beer. Put in preheated oven.

Prep the veggies of your choice.

Remove burgers about 10 minutes later and baste the burgers with beer again. Put back in oven.

Set aside 1/3 cup of beer, salt and 1/4 packet of onion soup mix.

Cook the burgers for about 20-25 minutes., Put a small sauté pan on the stovetop and and heat it up. Pull out burgers and immediately remove burgers and set aside.

While baking dish is still very hot, deglaze by adding beer, salt and onion soup mix to the baking dish and with a large spoon scrape all the fond from the pan and whisk it all together.

Transfer liquid to heated sauté pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat slightly and simmer until liquid is reduced by half. Remove from heat and stir in the butter.

Add cheese if you like, put together your burger and pour your Au jus into a dish. Use leftover beer to drink with your meal. Enjoy. I would recommend cutting the burger in half for easier dipping.
